Project Manager/Field Engineer

Location: Southlake, TX

Victory Renewables is seeking a qualified project manager/field engineer to supplement our facility operations team.  This role will be split between the corporate office in Southlake, TX and existing and new sites across the country.  The project manager/field engineer will be responsible for maintaining existing biodiesel equipment as well as purchasing and installing new equipment.  A positive, proactive and energetic individual is ideal for this position.

Job Description/Requirements: 

  • A mechanical engineering degree from an accredited 4 year college/university program
  • 3-5 years' experience working as a mechanical engineer
  • Mechanical analysis of pumping / mixing systems
  • Familiarity with equipment and layout drawings
  • Knowledge of pumps and piping systems
  • Ability to work from engineering drawings and product literature drawings
  • Ability to interface and communicate with facility managers
  • Knowledge of industry standards required; including local, state and federal laws and guidelines
  • Ability to interpret environmental regulations and ensure compliance
  • Ability to work in a time constrained environment
  • Experience with computers to include; Microsoft Office products, Computer Aided Design (CAD) and project management software
  • Project management experience
  • Research, design, develop, manufacture, test and install production equipment and other mechanical devices
  • Research and analyze design proposals, specifications, manuals to determine timeline and cost of projects
  • Ability to troubleshoot complex manufacturing systems (mechanical and electrical)
  • Identify potential cost savings, calculate ROI and submit project requests to management
  • Knowledge of how to read and interpret blueprints, technical drawings, schematics and computer generated reports
  • Experience with on-call response coverage including after-hours and weekends
  • Travel to existing and new sites is required
  • Must possess a current and valid driver’s license
